Education
Dr. Link earned her B.A. in Education, M.Ed. in Educational Administration, and Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University and completed post doctoral training in Professional Coaching. Dr. Link has served in education for the past 13 years in various capacities including consulting and presenting at the national level with various organizations and classroom teaching.

Dr. Link’s professional expertise lies in four areas, and includes: research, writing, presenting, and consulting. Her professional interest is in helping to construct a “system of diversity” for all she serves.Dr. Link has worked with numerous parents, families, educators, and children on the spectrum and is raising her son with autism. |
The Book
Dr. Link's book entitled Asperger Disorder and Maternal Experiences: An Exploration of Mothers Raising Children with Asperger Syndrome is a research manual exploring the lived experiences of mothers raising children on the spectrum and was published by VDM Verlag a German publishing house. Dr. Link has consulted regionally and nationally in the field of autism and effective education impacts.
Jimmy's Book
Jimmy Link, a 16-year-old boy with autism, is in the process of writing his own book about his struggles, strengths, goals, and aspirations. For the parent of a teenager with autism, this book will provide insights into the way that individuals with autism think and perceive. This book will be available for sale soon. |
University Programs
Most notably, Dr. Link has developed university programs aimed at a four pronged approach to building success for the autistic student in the classroom environment. Dr. Link's program is housed at Chapman University and teachers around the world are finding increased success working with children with autism disorders through the courses and instruments that Dr. Link has created.
